![]() For this year's Walk to END EPILEPSY® and the 2.6 Million Mile Challenge, anything is possible! If you're unable to Walk In-Person on 4 June 2022, individuals and teams are invited to join by registering to Walk Your Way. As a Walk Your Way participant, individuals and teams won't have just one day dedicated to the walk. Instead, you get to decide just how you complete the walk and currently have approximately 141 days until the big walk day. The overall goal is to help the Epilepsy Foundation reach the 2.6 Million Mile Challenge goal! Because we're not participating on the day the crowd gets together (COVID and all), my dad just created a team in support of the Epilepsy Foundation's #WalktoEndEpilepsy. Here's where you come in. We'd love to have more people sign up for our team: Challengers. You may sign up and/or donate here: https://do.nr/8j9d98. Click on "Join Our Team". You will be required to create a free account first...don't worry, no spamming. Then it's a piece of cake from there. Please note that donations are welcome but not required for participation. And also, your participant and/or donor name can be completely made up or just anonymous. We're a "no pressure team" type of team and we're inviting you to join us! The thing about this "Walk Your Way" approach is you can rack up the miles each day until the big day. No restrictions. No judgements if your bike shorts show too much skin. No complaints if you walk too slow. And clean toilets along the way...now that's a plus. Your only requirement (once joining the team) is to log your miles so it counts towards your individual and team goals. :-) Please join us and all participant teams in making a difference in the epilepsy community! There are 3.4+ million people in the United States living with #epilepsy (and 50+ million worldwide) so every effort counts! Any questions? Please contact me. Happy to help in any way that I can. Thank you for any and all support!! PS: 30 March 2022, I will be 9 years (grand mal) seizure free!!! 9 YEARS!! Something to celebrate! :-)
